Bansko is a picturesque and unique town. Located at the foot of Pirin Mountain, with population of 10 000 citizens, preserved its authentic appearance – narrow, zigzag streets, monolith stone walls, and typical Bulgarian houses. The skiing season along the Pirin slopes starts in the middle of December and ends in mid April.
